My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Dante's Fire by Jennifer Probst is a 2014 Cool Gus Publishing release. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Whoa! Dante is just my type. Dark, secretive, tortured, and sexy, sexy, sexy!

Dante has a power of healing which should be a good thing right? Well, it's not as easy at it sounds. For awhile Dante cursed his gift, but now he has accepted his destiny. But, the one thing he never counted on was having to save the beautiful Selena of Inferno Enterprises, a woman he has been in love with for two years.

Selena thinks of Dante as Dan, the mail delivery guy. He's nice and she enjoys their conversations. But, Dante knows she is out of his league. But, just because Selena can play ball with the big guys of business and just because she has money doesn't mean she's a shallow ice princess. She never came from money although she enjoys the benefits of her hard work now. She can be sophisticated and one of the boys too. But, she she finds herself being attacked on the streets of New York, a masked man comes to her rescue.
Although this is a short story/ novella this is a powerful story. A little fantasy/ paranormal element, a little super hero element, a sizzling romance, and two people who find love despite the odds against them.

If you like sexy superheros you'll want to get in on this series from the beginning. This is a little different from the usual Jennifer Probst, but I think this is going to be a fun and imaginative series. Over all this one gets 4 stars.
